What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Maintain communication with clinical partners to enhance patient experience and service delivery
- Provide timely coverage of assigned work area to ensure prompt patient service
- Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments
- Minimize duplication of medical records and register patients accurately for various services

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet department needs
- Strong time management skills to monitor attendance and limit unauthorized overtime
- Effective communication skills for interaction with clinical areas and patients
- Experience in a healthcare-related environment is preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of direct Patient Access experience
- Prior collections experience within a healthcare setting
- One year of customer service experience
- Associate's degree in a relevant field
