What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure patients are appropriately registered for all service lines and perform eligibility verification
- Obtain pre-certifications and authorizations, make financial arrangements, and request payments for services
- Maintain open communication with clinical partners to enhance patient experience
- Provide timely coverage of assigned work areas to facilitate prompt patient service
- Correct registration errors and maintain integrity of patient accounts by working error reports

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School degree or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year of relevant healthcare experience preferred
- Prior collections experience preferred
- One or more years of customer service experience preferred
- Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's degree preferred
- Additional experience in healthcare-related roles
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Experience with patient financial counseling
