      The Content and Alignment Specialist analyzes Imagine Learning's content against national and state standards, state and local curriculum maps, state adoption specifications, RFPs, alignment partner tests, and other applications as needed. This position is also responsible for using Imagine Learning's proprietary toolset to create customer courses using content from the existing library and make recommendations for ongoing content development.

      Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.

      Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $51,466 and $61,735 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

      Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote from your home office.

      Envision Your Experience.

      In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
      • Conducts national and state standards alignments across all product lines.
      • Customizes courses and products to align to state or local standards, curriculum maps, and/or pacing plans.
      • Creates quality alignment documents for distribution to public.
      • Writes customer-facing documentation showing how Edgenuity courses and content align to specific requests, for inclusion in applications, adoptions, and responses to RFPs.
      • Performs gap analysis on alignments to ensure 90% or better alignment; provides alternate suggestions when 90% is not possible.
      • Contributes to and maintains subject-specific taxonomies of content and skills.
      • Researches and understands Edgenuity curriculum.
      • Performs other duties upon request.


      Share Your Expertise.

      Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
      • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field; master's degree preferred.
      • Two year's work experience in content area, preferably involving classroom teaching.
      • Knowledge of standards, alignment, curriculum mapping and standards language.
      • Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
      • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
      • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
      • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Working knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
