What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, write, and edit content for newsletters, announcements, press releases, and other communication materials
- Review and edit all communication materials for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to AP style
- Assist with content creation for websites, social media, and email marketing campaigns
- Act as a liaison with internal teams to gather information and identify storytelling opportunities
- Maintain an editorial calendar to plan and schedule content for maximum impact

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of experience in content creation, writing, and editing, preferably in a communications or public relations role
- Experience in K-12 education
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a mastery of AP style
- Proficiency with content management tools and familiarity with digital marketing practices
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- A bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- Familiarity with visual content creation and graphic design processes
- Knowledge of change management or crisis communication strategies
- Strong organizational and project management skills
