What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Model effective Mathematics teaching practices and directly impact student achievement
- Develop and share best practices and curricular resources for Mathematics instruction
- Create and manage aligned assessments to monitor student progress
- Plan and facilitate professional development sessions for teachers and instructional leaders
- Collaborate with various educational teams to ensure aligned instruction and support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Minimum of 3 years of exemplary Mathematics teaching experience
- Experience as a teacher or instructional leader in a secondary school environment
- Valid Texas Teaching certificate in Mathematics
- Knowledge of current Mathematics curriculum and assessment strategies
