In August 2021, Yoast joined the company Newfold Digital . Joining forces with this leading web-presence solutions provider will help us reach even more people to help them improve their SEO. It enables us to expand on our work across many platforms and bring more of our SEO ideas into practice. A big change , but a lot will also remain the same: our team, our brand, our headquarters in Wijchen, and Yoast SEO. And, of course, our mission: SEO for everyone .

The Content specialist will work for the Yoast brand under Newfold Digital parent company and write content such as blog posts on SEO-related topics, create landing pages, and coordinate our video content project.

This is a contract opportunity.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

As a content specialist, you will write new blog posts for the SEO blog on yoast.com and update existing content to reflect the latest developments in SEO and related topics.

In addition, you will lead the video content project which entails writing scripts (based on existing content), planning recordings with colleagues, coordinating the editing (done by our video specialist), and uploading and monitoring the videos to our website and YouTube.

Other than that, you will work on tweaking existing pages on yoast.com and creating new pages, writing content for other channels when needed, and thinking of new content ideas for our SEO blog.

We are looking for someone with a passion for writing and knowledge of SEO. A team player with great communication skills, who enjoys being part of a team of content creators who help each other where needed.

You need to be proactive when it comes to thinking of new topics to write about or create videos about. As the lead of the video content project, it’s also important that you enjoy project management to a certain degree and get other colleagues enthusiastic to appear on camera.

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

• Excellent English writing skills (C1 CEFR).

• Knowledge of and interest in current SEO practices and developments in that field.

• Experience with WordPress

• Experience with SEO content writing

• Experience with keyword research and monitoring SEO efforts through tools like GA4.
