What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write and design high-level social studies content and assessments that meet educational standards
- Develop engaging resources such as graphics and videos to enhance course content
- Validate the accuracy of content and assessments through quality assurance testing
- Collaborate with teaching staff and development team members to incorporate innovative technologies
- Assist in revising externally produced content and evaluate resources for project applicability

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Education or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Texas Professional Teaching Certificate in Social Studies for grades 5-12
- Minimum of two years of curriculum writing and/or design experience in the content area
- Strong knowledge of subject matter, pedagogy, and curriculum design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Three years of teaching experience in a relevant field
- Experience with educational technology and online instructional design
- Familiarity with various teaching strategies and curriculum practices
