The Continuing Education Specialist helps to ensure that agents and adjusters doing business with AgriSompo North America receive proper State and Federal continuing education credit when participating in ASNA trainings. This ensures that these individuals are able to remain properly licensed and appointed to sell and service crop insurance policies, or to work crop insurance claims.

- Collaborate with the applicable team members to offer a seamless continuing education experience.
- Coordinate with the Training Department, Marketing Staff, and Meetings Teams to schedule and process each meeting held under AgriSompo's CE Providership
- Perform various tasks relating to continuing education procedures, at a state level, including, but not limited to new course and instructor submissions and scheduling course offerings for all courses to ensure deadlines are met.
- Perform various reporting responsibilities, as determined by the Continuing Education Manager
- Monitors and tracks state renewal requirements for continuing education Providership, courses, and instructors.
- Develop and provide training sign-in sheets, while ensuring that the content meets all state requirements.
- Maintain accurate attendance records for each course.
- Responsible for entering course attendance information electronically within each state's defined timeframe to ensure licensees are awarded proper credit for course participation.
- Prepare and distribute continuing education certificates of completion to each student attendee within each state's required timeframe.
- Entry of all internal training completions in applicable systems
- Training document management in applicable systems
- Partner with the Training Department to facilitate the processing of all virtual trainings, either taken via live webinar, or through the Saba online learning system
- Proctor Basic Competency Exams upon request and/or partner with the Training Department to facilitate the processing of exams taken electronically through the Saba online learning system
- Assist the Continuing Education Manager with developing, maintaining, and implementing CE processes.
- Monitor all federal crop insurance continuing education requirements as specified in the Standard Re-Insurance Agreement (SRA)
- Monitor state continuing education requirements.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Provide exceptional internal and external customer experiences.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
Position Requirements Education Required - High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent work experience.
Experience Preferred - Previous experience in insurance.
Preferred - Previous experience in continuing education programming.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Polished professional with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of general business and corporate cultures
- Advanced skills in Outlook and other MS Office programs (Excel, Word, OneNote)

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions Physical Demands & Requirements Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
