Description:

• Responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and process improvements
• Assist in the development of new products to customers.
• Help build a roadmap of activities mixing Kaizen, training, and focused projects to drive operational improvement.
• Identify Lean improvement opportunities
• Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods
• MFG Processes include welding, brazing, machining, fabrication, forming, and assembly

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BS degree in engineer a must
• 5+ years of manufacturing Engineering / continuous improvement experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, medical, and/or metal fabrication preferred
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement concepts
• Knowledge of Lean Transformation, Lean Coaching, Visual Management/6S, Process Improvement Kanban
• Toyota Production System exposure is a plus.
• Proficient use of IT tools (Agile or Scrum is a plus)
• PMP and/or APQP Certification is a plus
• Understand various welding processes a plus
• Union shop exposure would be a plus
• Machining or CNC experience a plus
