Job Description

- Responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and process improvements
- Assist in the development of new products to customers.
- Help build a roadmap of activities mixing Kaizen, training, and focused projects to drive operational improvement.
- Identify Lean improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods
- MFG Processes include welding, brazing, machining, fabrication, forming, and assembly
- BS degree in engineer a must
- 5+ years of manufacturing Engineering / continuous improvement experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, medical, and/or metal fabrication preferred
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement concepts
- Knowledge of Lean Transformation, Lean Coaching, Visual Management/6S, Process Improvement Kanban
- Toyota Production System exposure is a plus.
- Proficient use of IT tools (Agile or Scrum is a plus)
- PMP and/or APQP Certification is a plus
- Understand various welding processes a plus
- Union shop exposure would be a plus
- Machining or CNC experience a plus
