What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and draft moderately complex and non-complex contract documents for group life and disability products
- Interpret and analyze plan documents and submission materials to align with customer intent
- Enhance customer satisfaction by discussing policy provisions and bringing contract expertise to processes
- Mitigate financial risk by drafting legally defensible contracts
- Provide mentoring and training for less experienced colleagues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience
- 1-2 years of related experience for Contract Analyst II; 3+ years for Senior Contract Analyst
- Full knowledge of coverage features, standard contractual provisions, and group insurance product concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other analysts and effectively communicate with customers

- Experience in drafting legally defensible contract documents
- Previous mentoring or training experience
- Familiarity with group life and disability insurance products
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex tasks
