What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and draft moderately complex and non-complex contract documents for group life and disability products
- Interpret and analyze plan documents and submission materials to align with customer intent
- Enhance customer satisfaction by discussing policy provisions and providing contract expertise
- Mitigate financial risk by drafting legally defensible contracts
- Collaborate with other contract analysts and field personnel to ensure effective communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Contract Analyst II requires 1-2 years of related experience; Senior Contract Analyst requires 3+ years of related experience
- Full knowledge of coverage features and standard contractual provisions related to group insurance products
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers both verbally and in writing

- Experience mentoring and training colleagues with less experience
- Ability to work independently and plan one's own work with limited direction
- Experience in a collaborative environment with internal and external key contacts
- Proficiency in interpreting complex submission materials and drafting legally defensible contracts
