      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and oversee research proposals, awards, and transactions related to contract and grant management
      - Maintain contract and grant records in compliance with institutional and research sponsor policies
      - Analyze financial information for proposals and awards, including budgets, salaries, and expenses
      - Provide analytical and administrative support to sponsored projects staff, ensuring timely reviews
      - Conduct audit checks and entity checks of subrecipients and facilitate award closeout reports

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training
      - 1-3 years of job-related experience
      - Knowledge of applicable federal, state, local, sponsor, and institutional regulations, policies, and guidelines
      - Ability to manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy
      - Strong organization, communication skills, and a customer service focus

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Ability to perform moderately complex financial analysis and customized reporting
      - Competence in using spreadsheet and database software for financial analysis and reporting
      - Familiarity with University policies and procedures related to research administration
      - Experience in explaining and interpreting complex policies and regulations to others
