What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process agency contracts and amendments while ensuring compliance with performance standards
- Review and assist with the development of scopes of work for contracts
- Conduct contract management and monitoring functions for assigned contracts
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders to address issues and resolve problems
- Provide orientation and support to contractors and agency staff

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of two years (60 semester hours) of accredited college work, plus two years of full-time experience in contract development, management, evaluation, monitoring, or training
- One year of experience may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of education
- Strong communication and organization skills with attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and constructive work relationships
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Teams

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification as a Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD) or Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) within one year of employment
- Experience coordinating competitive solicitations such as Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the State of Texas
- Experience in technical writing, procurement processes, and contract development
- Background in facilitation, customer service, and data analysis
