What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define needs and form teams for acquisition projects, reviewing current strategies and performing market research
- Develop actionable acquisition package artifacts that comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure acquisition projects meet goals and objectives
- Provide expertise in acquisition planning and government acquisition techniques and processes
- Research, prepare, develop, and revise documents for Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of experience in government acquisition planning and market research
- Experience in defining evaluation factors and Purchase Request package development for government acquisitions valued over $3M
- Hold a FAC-C Professional or Legacy certification, or commercial equivalent
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a government background check
- Knowledge of information technology, radio frequency communication, and sensor systems fundamentals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with federally mandated policies and regulations for enterprise IT acquisition
- Strong understanding of business trends and best practices in management and organizational management, especially in IT and C5I systems
