      Job summary

      The purpose of the job is to support the Manager in implementing controlling and analysis activities in order to manage and to plan economic and financial indexes of Istituto Marangoni (Milano School, Milano Design, Firenze School of Fashion & Art).

      The Controllership Specialist support the Manager in developing the right monthly financial closing, identifying variancy in relation to the budget/forecast and defining monthly forecast (economics and about cash flow).

      Key purpose of the role

      • Controlling Italian accounting department and improving profitability of the Italian Schools;
      • Verifying active and passive flow;
      • Analysing variance in relation to the budget/forecast and cash forecast in order to predict the flow of the main income and cost items;
      • Supporting the School Directors in the development of the main School Projects;
      • Compiling and managing economic and financial monthly/annually reporting documents;
      • Managing accountability during defying annual financial statement;
      • Supervising of the budgeting/forecasting activities of the Country;
      • Supporting and maintaining accounting system;
      • Identifying and developing of any corrective actions in order to improve Finance processes.

      Education and Skills

      • 2/3-year experiences in similar role;
      • Economy degree;
      • Good knowledge of SAP B1 and office suite, Excel in particular;
      • Good knowledge of English language;
      • Remarkable quality of precision and problem solving;
      • Proactivity, strong analytics skills and team-work attitude;
