Job Description:

As a Converting Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial equipment that cut and winds various products, according to written standards and package orders for shipments, operate coating machinery within customer and industry standards
• Demonstrate safe work behaviors to avoid injury to self or others
• Problem solves and works with others to improve operational efficiencies to better service the customer
• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts
• Maintain neat and orderly conditions in the work area

Required:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Desired:

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with adhesives and films
• Experience with lean manufacturing in a production environment
• Intermediate or advanced computer knowledge
• Experience working with slitting equipment
• Strong mathematical skills
• Strong problem-solving, reporting, and cognitive skills
