      What You’ll Be Doing

      • Executing demands efficiently in a high volume restaurant
      • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
      • Preparing food for service
      • Ensuring that food is of high quality and served in a timely fashion
      • Setting up and stocking stations with necessary supplies
      • Stocking inventory
      • Keeping work station clean
      • Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

      Qualifications

      What You Need for this Position

      • Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen setting. (fine dining experience is a plus)
      • Understanding of ingredients, equipment, procedures and various cooking methods
      • Ability to multitask and communicate in a team kitchen
      • Basic knife skills
      • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
      • Able to stoop and bend
      • Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
      • Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
      • Able to comply with safety and health code standards
      • Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
