      Purpose Statement

      • To contribute towards the effective functioning and governance of the Retail Collections and Recoveries department through:
        • Taking ownership for coordinating administrative processes for the Retail Collections and Recoveries team.
        • Aligning Collections and Recoveries actions originating from various committees to ensure effective co-ordination between the Retail Credit Department and Business Support Centre.
        • Coordinating the delivery of people related objectives within the Collections and Recoveries department.

      Experience

      Minimum:

      2 - 4 years office and administrative experience within a similar environment, including software and system exposure.
      Experience working in a Credit environment.
      Experience in providing customer/client relationship services.

      Ideal:

      • 4+ years office and administrative experience within a similar environment, including software and system exposure
      • Previous experience in project coordination.
      • Experience with working on office systems (SAP / Jira / etc.)

      Qualifications (Minimum)

      • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

      Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

      • A relevant tertiary qualification in Banking or Finance

    Knowledge

    Minimum:

    • Coordination and administration practices and tools.
    • Office and administration systems and procedures.
    • MS Office products e.g.: Word, Excel etc.
    • Credit life cycle
    • Credit products
    • Project management principles

    Ideal:

    • Document Control
    • Relevant legislation and regulatory requirements Statutory Reporting principles
    • SAP knowledge would be beneficial.
