- BA/BS in Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, Communications or a related field.
Job Summary:
The Guest Relations Coordinator, under the guidance and supervision of the Manager of Patient & Family Engagement, will assist in the execution of all "Patient Relations" activities at Englewood Medical Center. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that patients, families and visitors achieve an expeditious response/resolution to their concerns and that their needs are met in accordance with regulatory guidelines and best practices. The Guest Relations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring quality grievance reviews and prompt responses along with ongoing service recovery in tandem with patient and guest-facing staff. The incumbent will have a strong understanding of general hospital billing/reimbursement systems and guidelines. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for related database management and reporting.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years' patient relations experience. In addition, they will possess excellent verbal/written communication skills along with well-honed de-escalation and problem-solving skills. The abilityy to mutli-task, remain calm under pressure and to utilize critical thinking and computer skills in order to create various reports are required. Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
