What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage repossession inventory by reviewing accounts and overseeing the repossession process
- Assign collateral to appropriate repossession agents and handle skip tracing efforts
- Monitor communications with repossession agents and approve or deny fees
- Represent the employer at auctions and oversee the sale of repossessed collateral
- Assist in training new employees and support team leadership as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three years of experience in a customer service or call center environment, preferably in the financial industry
- At least one year of repossession experience preferred
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle and de-escalate situations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated working knowledge of automobile finance, collections, and loan services
- Familiarity with indirect loan documentation, such as contracts and bankruptcies
- Database skills
- Fluent in Spanish
