      Location: Remote within Eastern, and Central US Time Zones (see location requirements below)

      Who you are:

      The Work & Travel USA and Camp Exchange USA programs within the Seasonal Exchange programs group allow approximately 25,000 students and young professionals from around the world to take part in work-based exchange programs at host organizations across the U.S. each year. These programs are operated under the authority of the U.S. Department of State to advance public diplomacy through the BridgeUSA set of programs.

      The Coordinator, Seasonal Exchanges, Hiring Events Team facilitates virtual hiring services, allowing CIEE host employers to interview and hire from their home office via webcam, and allowing CIEE staff to interview and hire on behalf of host employers. In this role, the Coordinator will oversee many aspects of virtual hiring, including CIEE Connect. This oversight includes reviewing host employer needs for seasonal staff, advertising to prospective

      participants overseas through CIEE’s network of International Representatives, supporting and overseeing placements. The Coordinator will ensure the completion of interview documents prior to virtual events, manage post-event follow-up as necessary, and maintain accurate hiring records in CIEE’s database.


      What you’ll do:

      • Collaborate with multiple teams, host employers, and international representatives.
      • Document progression of virtual events; create calendar invitations, send reminders to event participants, and communicate changes.
      • Allocate host employer placements, communicate requirements to international representatives, and recommend and execute shifts as needed.
      • Manage hiring events enrollments.
      • Ensure proper execution of virtual hiring events.
      • Provide live technical support to all stakeholders.
      • Generate reports for online hiring services and share results with stakeholders.
      • Seek continuous improvement to virtual hiring event processes including CIEE Connect, and update training and event materials annually.
      • Provide professional and consistent customer service to all stakeholders.
      • Train colleagues on web-based hiring services and new processes as needed.
      • Conduct interviews of applicants for placement into seasonal positions.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      What you’ll bring:

      The ideal candidate will possess:

      • Bachelor’s degree.
      • Two years of experience working in a customer-facing/client management role.
      • Experience in event planning and scheduling preferred.
      • High level of computer skills including MS Office Suite; Salesforce and advanced Excel experience (e.g., development of macros) preferred.
      • Knowledge of Skype or Zoom event management a plus.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Very high-level customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
      • Self-starter with ability to take initiative and drive projects independently.
      • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced team environment.
      • Strong organizational skills with high level of attention to detail.
      • Demonstrated ability to work with people, both in gathering information and communicating project direction and status.
      • Strong ability to multi-task while overseeing daily projects and events.
      • Some early morning and evening work required to accommodate.
      • Some travel may be requested to attend overseas hiring events as well as domestic travel.

      Location Requirements:

      The position is available to candidates with Eastern, and Central US Time Zones, except for candidates residing in:

      • Washington (State)
      • Colorado
      • California
      • Jersey City, NJ
