Hiring Opportunity: Gahanna, Ohio
Our client is looking for a Copper Line/EHRT Operator who will assist them at their location in Gahanna. Our client is total solutions provider to OEMs that offer comprehensive, in-house precision sheet metal fabrication and precision machining capabilities.
Job Requirements:
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 3-5 Years OTJ Machinist and/or General Fabrication experience.
- Background in manufacture of precision metal products; Copper bus bar experience preferable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Operations of multi station Punch Machine / Copper Bar.
- Ability to create and edit programs / Fanuc, G code, etc.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret prints/ drawings/specs.
- Deburring, drilling and tapping of materials.
- Understanding and execution of material inspection procedures.
- Computer experience.
- Ability to use handheld inspection equipment; Calipers + Micrometers.
- Understanding and support all relevant company policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Familiar with ISO standards.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Ability to prioritize job functions to meet demands of position in a busy job shop environment.
- Ability to work well independently, as well as within a team.
- Create and edit programs / Fanuc, G code, etc.
- Read and interpret prints/ drawings/specs.
- Physical demands: Bending, Twisting, Standing, Stooping, Sitting, Walking, and Reaching overhead.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Forklift / Pallet jack experience.
- Job Functions vary and are designed to support the whole of the COPPER BUS BAR operations; as well as other duties as assigned per needs of business.About the company
