What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Maintain SOX compliance for a public company
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and taxes
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards systems
- Strong organizational, mathematical, and attention to detail skills
