What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide legal support for regulatory matters under federal securities laws, including registration filings for various insurance products
- Advise on the development, administration, and marketing of registered insurance products, addressing regulatory and legislative issues
- Review contracts, policies, and administrative forms related to new products and enhancements
- Prepare and negotiate contracts for underlying funds and oversee drafting regulatory filings
- Support electronic document management for creating and updating registration statements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris doctorate from an accredited law school; admitted to practice before a state bar association
- At least 5 years of securities law experience, preferably in insurance or mutual fund law
- Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in client interaction and issue management
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
- Preferred experience with electronic document management systems such as ArcPro or Toppan Merrill

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in-house or at a law firm specializing in insurance or mutual fund law
- Familiarity with regulatory filings for insurance products
- Proven track record of managing legal projects and advising on compliance matters
