Support the company’s growth strategy through identification, evaluation, and execution of potential acquisitions and other strategic initiatives. Workstreams may include strategic planning, market assessments, business assessments, due diligence, valuation, contract negotiation, and post-closing integration and performance tracking
Ownership of dynamic, scenario-based financial modeling and economic analyses to support business growth strategies
Assisting in the preparation of diligence analyses, investment theses, acquisition briefing materials, and Board approval decks.
Collaboration and communication across business unit leadership teams and other capability leaders
Monitor and share competitive business intelligence (i.e., competitor earnings, related transactions, emerging technologies/processes) for Altium’s core markets
Demonstrates the highest levels of ethics and policy compliance at all levels
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related quantitative discipline
1-3 years of experience in an investment banking or corporate finance role with strong knowledge of accounting principles and M&A execution experience
Understanding of valuation methodologies: DCF, LBO, precedent transaction, comparable
companies
Demonstrated quantitative skills and experience in financial statement analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and economic analysis
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office® suite products, especially PowerPoint (ability to create and modify business presentations) and Excel (ability to create complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and complex models)
Sound commercial judgement, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to interact, collaborate, and influence internal/external parties/advisers and build relationships across all levels
Experience with project management to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workstreams to successfully meet goals and deadlines

The Corporate Development Associate / Sr. Associate will play a key role in executing inorganic growth activities for Altium Packaging (“Altium”). The person in this role will be involved in the entire execution of acquisitions, identification through integration, and other strategic initiatives, and must have the ability to present complex financial data in a thoughtful, dynamic, and organized way that can be easily translated into financial impacts for the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors. Additionally, the role may also include the opportunity to perform ad-hoc project work with business units on organic growth topics. The role reports to the Vice President of Corporate Development.
