      Nexfibre is a next generation fibre broadband company, formed in December 2022 as a joint venture between InfraVia Capital Partners, Liberty Global and Telefónica. We are on a mission to deliver high-speed broadband to up to 7 million homes across the UK over the next 4 years. We are backed by a £4.5 billion investment by our investors and banks.

      Working closely with our commercial partner Virgin Media O2, we will create the only national scale fibre to the home network to compete with BT Openreach. We are supporting the Government’s ambition to tackle digital exclusion, deliver nationwide ultrafast broadband rollout by 2030 and level up disconnected communities by investing in the areas we’re building in and acting as a net-contributor.

      JOB PURPOSE

      Accountable for driving the development and implementation of Corporate Development projects. Ensures projects are in line with company interests and achieve key objectives.

      This role plays a crucial part supporting and executing our strategy to expand our national footprint through the selective acquisition of relevant cable/fibre and telecommunications businesses, and by strengthening its partnership positions with existing and new partners.

      KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

      · Provision of quantitative and qualitative analysis of acquisition targets, impact analysis on nexfibre

      · Coordinate and drive one or more Corporate Development processes on a daily basis

      · Manage the due diligence and documentation preparation

      · Management of all internal resources as required for each deal

      · Management / liaison with all external advisors

      · Structuring and management of deals and subsequent negotiating positions

      · Modelling and forecasting for initiatives, including commercial appraisal of projects post investment

      · Develops the organization's strategic plan(s) to ensure its continued successful growth and profitability.

      · Conducts environmental scans, organization positioning analyses and other studies.

      · Develops proposals, including feasibility studies, for new business opportunities

      KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

      · High calibre with relevant & solid work experience

      · A strategic thinker with robust analytical skills

      · Proactive and pragmatic – able to prioritise projects and agendas

      · Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work dynamically within a team environment

      · Specialized professional recognized as technical expert within their function, or manager through subordinate managers of multiple teams of professionals.

      · Develops innovative solutions to very complex issues and acts as best practice/quality expert within and outside own discipline.

      · Strong commercial awareness, and is expected to significantly influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and policy formulation.

      · Working in a high growth, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment, focused on highest standards of implementation and delivery.

      · Focus on finance / economics / law or accounting preferable
