What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the company's real estate portfolio, including landlord and broker relationships, negotiation processes, and lease/sublease management
- Oversee corporate governance matters, including maintenance of board and committee records, and compliance documentation
- Support due diligence processes, data room management, and document preparation for financings and M&A transactions
- Coordinate closings and handle post-closing matters, including filings with federal, state, and local authorities
- Review simple legal agreements under attorney supervision
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 8-10 years of experience, with preference for recent experience in an in-house corporate role
- Strong background in corporate matters
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Expertise in contract management, NDA review, and regulatory filings
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in document management systems (iManage preferred but not required)
- Adaptability to work across different legal areas without specializing in a single type of filing
- Proactive problem-solver who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under time and resource constraints
- Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
