What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with corporate governance, entity management, and compliance for the employer’s SaaS business
- Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts
- Coordinate contract lifecycle management processes, including tracking renewals and expirations
- Support the legal team in preparing and filing corporate documents, including board resolutions and regulatory filings
- Conduct legal research on matters related to SaaS industry standards and emerging tech regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program, or juris doctor
- At least two years of experience as a corporate paralegal, ideally within a technology or SaaS company
- Familiarity with SaaS agreements, intellectual property issues, and privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business teams and external partners
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Paralegal certification (preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- A proactive and adaptable approach to legal work
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance matters
