The Role:
11:11 Systems is looking for a Corporate Paralegal who will be responsible for the efficient operation of the legal department. They will provide legal support to the department, completing assignments as assigned on tasks and project management as required for the team. They will support internal legal website content, act as a liaison for the legal department in internal projects as needed and provide maintenance of corporate transactions and policies. This role will also play a role in managing the business aspect of vendor relationships.
This is is a full-time, remote position based in the United States, and will report to Managing Counsel.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with other members of the legal department to maintain order and organization within the legal department
- Liaise with internal departments/stakeholders when legal support is required on tasks or projects
- Review, provide comment and review legal documents and negotiate agreements
- Assist other legal department members with record maintenance and compliance with the company records management policy
- Manage the business relationship with vendors, including working with Procurement and Accounts Payable as needed to facilitate and maintain these relationships
- Maintain the internal legal website content
- Organize internal department meetings, including drafting minutes and agenda when applicable
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11's Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements
- Additional duties as assigned
Who You Are & What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business, legal or related discipline
- Paralegal degree or certificate required
- 5+ years of relevant work experience required
- Demonstrates superior attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively to perform tasks to completion
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities as directed
- Experience reviewing, commenting and revising legal documents
- Experience reviewing and negotiating agreements
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
