What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a key member of the finance team responsible for modeling, reporting, and business analytics
- Conduct Prophet model conversions and develop models following centralized governance policies
- Model advanced product features and reinvestment/hedging methods
- Collaborate with business units to understand model changes, prioritize tasks, execute test plans, and assist in model acceptance
- Document all changes and testing related to the models
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficient in FIS Prophet software for modeling, valuation, and financial reporting, with experience in integration and customization
- Extensive experience in customizing Prophet models to meet business needs and regulatory requirements, particularly with ALS and US360 libraries
- Familiarity with an actuarial enterprise technology environment
- Strong understanding of insurance products and associated risks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex actuarial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
