      Corporate / Key Account Manager

      Field Based Role

      Salford Quays

      Permanent

      Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

      £41,000 - £62,000 DOE + commission + fantastic benefits

      The Corporate/Key Account Manager will manage large corporate clients (likely 15 to 20 depending on size) to ensure strong and commercially successful relationships that result in the delivery year-on-year of business growth, and profit targets. Negotiations will be complex, and often involve influencing decisions directly and via third parties. The job holder will be required to draw upon, utilise and engage significant internal resource to achieve demanding retention, cross sell, and growth targets. They will support clients to shape and drive their Health and Wellbeing strategies demonstrating Bupa’s role as the clear leader in the UK Healthcare Market.

      How you’ll help us make health happen:

      • Strategically manage a portfolio of large corporate accounts, building commercially successful relationships with client contacts at all levels (but primarily senior/board level) that deliver business targets including additional revenue.
      • Be accountable for growth of the corporate customer base through new registrations and retention, revenue, and contribution.
      • Agree short, medium and long-term (2-5 year) plans with prioritised outcomes that meet customer needs and deliver corporate engagement and loyalty.
      • Consult on total health strategy; present the full portfolio of Bupa products and services in a seamless and integrated way to meet the client’s requirements – Bupa. Better for Business.
      • Proactively monitor the performance of accounts including margin levels, retention, new registrations, service levels and take appropriate action to ensure issues are addressed quickly and to the client’s satisfaction.
      • Responsible for the successful outcomes of bids and tenders including leading the lengthy sales cycles to ensure results achieved, using the expertise from the wider UKI/Bupa network as required.

      Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

      • Previous key corporate account management experience in the healthcare/health insurance market.
      • Experience building and maintaining strong, long lasting client relationships.
      • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding targets.
      • Strong track record of successfully influencing a wide range of stakeholders.
      • Excellent knowledge of the UK Healthcare Market.
      • Resilience and confidence in own and Bupa's ability to succeed.
      • Perceptive and highly commercial regarding strategic business planning and relationship development.
