What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and respond to customer inquiries within contractual timeframes
- Represent the written correspondence department in internal and client meetings as needed
- Conduct research and gather data to resolve inquiries according to established guidelines
- Read and understand new Medicaid policies and procedures to incorporate into responses
- Develop concise and grammatically correct written responses to inquiries

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience or knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, or commercial claims processing from a provider office or health insurance company
- Familiarity with healthcare claims billing procedures (HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10-CM, etc.)
- Proven writing skills, including grammar and punctuation
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in time requirements as determined by the Written Correspondence Supervisor

- Experience in a healthcare-related environment or customer service role
- Knowledge of Medicaid policies and procedures
