Responsibilities:

• Successfully complete straightforward to moderately complex assignments

• Attend scheduled meetings with cross functional partners ( i.e. merchandising, content , photo ops ) and gather information that will enable appropriate design decisions.

• Partner with Designers and Photo Art Directors to e nsure proper application and consideration of photography assets.

• Partners with Production team ensuring design expectations of the various deliverables.

• Collaborate with copywriters on proper application of appropriate copy elements to ensure strategic solutions, synergy and consistency.

• Develop an "eye" and taste level for Bean aesthetic

• Communicate familiar data/concepts to broader team.

• Build collaborative relationships in order to support win-win outcomes

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in college or a university degree program in Art-related focus with a preferred Passion for art and design

• Passion for retail combined with a strong desire to represent the L. L.Bean brand

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

• Proficiency with Office 365

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Copy Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of the brand voice and standards
• Learn the fundamentals of direct response/multichannel marketing
• Develop depth of product and customer knowledge
• Provide support and write copy for brand- and product-level projects, as assigned

• Participate in brainstorms and concepting sessions

Copy Skills and Qualifications:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or a university degree program
• English, Advertising, Creative Writing or Journalism track preferred
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to learn and express L.L.Bean’s brand voice
• Ability to brainstorm in a group or suggest new ideas individually
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize a diverse workload
• Proficiency with Office 365
