What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide guidance and counseling to candidates regarding credentialing requirements and programs
- Audit, review, and evaluate candidate files to ensure compliance with state credentialing regulations
- Collaborate with school districts on internship and fieldwork requirements
- Certify candidates for various credentials and certifications
- Stay updated on state legal requirements related to credentialing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university; Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in academic administrative support or advising in higher education
- Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and databases
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills with sensitivity to cultural diversity
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in processing applications and academic advising in a School of Education setting
- Familiarity with state credentialing regulations and requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience in a remote work environment
