What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the initial credentialing and privileging process for new medical staff and allied health professional applicants
- Manage the reappointment process for existing medical staff
- Coordinate managed care audits to ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with the Director of Medical Staff Services to adhere to Medical Staff Bylaws and Joint Commission Standards
- Utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize and accomplish tasks effectively

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical staff services, specifically in credentialing
- Experience in a managed care or healthcare environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel) with critical data entry accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management, customer service, organization, and analytical skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree or equivalent experience; bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS)
