What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process applications for appointment and re-appointment for Medical Staff and House Staff
- Review and evaluate applications to determine eligibility for membership and clinical privileges
- Obtain primary source verifications for all applicant information
- Maintain confidential credentialing files and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Serve as a liaison between Medical Staff Services and clinical departments to address questions and concerns

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in Medical Staff Services Science, Health Care Administration, or a closely related field, or one year of basic technical training
- One year of related experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
- One year of experience in credentialing or provider enrollment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and escalate concerns as needed

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Candidates from the New England region preferred
- Additional experience in a healthcare-related administrative role
