What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate and maintain credentialing, managed care provider enrollment, and hospital privileges for BayCare physicians and providers
- Complete primary source verifications and assess provider qualifications to ensure compliance with BayCare's quality standards
- Document all verifications and data in the credentialing database to produce credentialing files within required time frames
- Ensure providers remain compliant with licensing and board requirements, assisting with renewals as needed
- Enroll and maintain managed care enrollment, providing updates to health/payor plans and resolving errors and issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must currently reside in Florida
- High School Diploma or Equivalent GED required
- 1 year of experience in credentialing or managed care
- Preferred certification in CPCS (Credentialing)
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare-related service
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in credentialing software systems
