Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit investigations and collect delinquent accounts under the direction of the Credit Manager.
- Investigate and verify financial status of new and existing customers as necessary.
- Prepare files to substantiate findings, recommend approvals, and assignment of credit limits.
- Validate credit limits to ensure adequacy to accommodate current business volume.
- Review collection reports and ascertain status of balances and open receivables.
- Audit delinquent accounts to ensure adequate measures have been taken.
- Handle all customer service inquiries by both internal and external customers.
- Prepare delinquency reports and other reports as directed by management.
- Advise management of problems, issues, procedural changes necessary, etc. to ensure compliance with existing policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of general business and accounting principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret customer purchase orders, contracts, IT billing requirement documents, etc.
- Knowledge of Billing and A/R systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work in a remote environment towards team goals.
- SalesForce experience a plus.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Credit or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
