Accountable for the premium collection and reconciliation for Personal and Commercial Lines insurance Intermediary business.
Leadership and development of circa 160 Credit Controllers on and offshore
Managing the performance and relationship with our Third-Party Provider (WNS) and contractual relationships with Third Party Solicitors.
Management of aged debt and bad debt write off
Provide metrics / mentorship / insight / actions linked to all related governance forums (Transformation programmes / Debt Forums / Steer co’s)
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales & Distribution, Underwriting, Finance and Change
Ensure all risk and governance controls are effective, active, regularly monitored and all actions to address any weaknesses or gaps are being progressed
Very strong people / operational leadership skills
Be accountable for people, process, systems, analyse detailed data and controls.
Excellent communication skills, including managing relationships with internal and external teams and collaborators
Has a passion for change and transformation
Solid understanding and capability of credit control and related technology
Annual salary between £45,000 and £65,000 (skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity of 12% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s)

Credit Control Lead: £45,000 to £65,000
We are excited to announce we are looking for the next leader of the Credit Control team here at Aviva, based in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have experience leading large teams within the Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Credit Control arena.
A bit about the role:
The Accounts Receivable & Collections team forms part of the Finance Shared Services team within Finance Operations and is accountable for the premium collection and reconciliation for Aviva’s Personal and Commercial Lines insurance Intermediary business. The department is going through an exciting transformation, and we are currently recruiting for a lead to help lead the team into the next chapter.
You must be able to build and maintain strong collaborator relationships in order to achieve the right outcomes for our customers and help us grow.
You will continually look for ways to simplify and improve processes and systems whilst challenging the status quo. As with any shared service there are a number of Key stakeholders who need to be engaged and work collaboratively with across Change, Planning, Service Delivery and Risk Management. Ability to build and maintain Relationships is key to the role.
Working individually and as part of virtual teams across the business, you will be the representative for Accounts Receivable and face to the wider Aviva business. You must have the desire to take ownership for actions and see them through to completion.
