- Create and modify crew members schedules to resolve all conflicts created by weather, maintenance, and crew issues by exercising decision-making skills that comply with all applicable FAA regulations, CBA, and company policies while using resources efficiently.
- Coordinate the flight crew availability with the Operations Control Center (OCC) to protect the integrity of the market schedule.
- Work jointly with Turn Facilitators to increase on time performance
- Communicate with Dispatch Coordinators and Maintenance Supervisors regarding daily operational concerns to resolve any operational issues.
- Work closely with, and coordinate with the OCC coordinators and other departments to resolve problems that arise during the day-to-day operation and implement plans to correct operational issues.
- Monitor Crew Scheduling email to complete and modify all necessary schedule changes to reflect LOA changes, personal days, Flica requests, Union and Company business, etc. and answer daily operation questions.
- Field all incoming calls and work with dedicated Hubs and/or stations.
- Field all incoming calls from Chief Pilots, Inflight Supervisors, and management that require immediate assistance for daily operation
- Monitor Pilot and Flight Attendant turn time connections, and replace crews to avoid delays when necessary.
- Update crewmember schedules to resolve all conflicts created by weather, maintenance, and other operational issues.
- Monitor Crew Rules and exceptions to pro-actively re-crew for operational performance and maintain federal legality and contractual compliance of flight crew member schedules for a 24 hour/ 7-day operation.
- Effectively communicate with crew members regarding federal regulations, CBA compliance, schedule assignments and accommodations.
- Utilize multiple software systems to track and solve complex scheduling problems and complete required checklists.
- Assist with irregular operations by processing Crew Recovery Reports
- Assist with Flight Attendant, Pilot, Lead and Future Scheduling when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and maintain company expectations.
- Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Crew Scheduling experience
- Aviation operations experience
- Knowledge of airline and aviation terminology
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.

Position Summary
Crew Schedulers Coordinators are an integral part of the Operation Control Center (OCC) and serve as a critical component to the airline’s operation. The Crew Scheduler Coordinator is responsible for ensuring each scheduled flight is legally covered with the appropriate crew compliment. Scheduling Coordinators use tools and resources to schedule pilots and flight attendants, and aptly amending schedules by adhering to FARs, company policies and procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreements.
