What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals contacting the 988 Lifeline
- Conduct assessments of individual safety and level of risk, utilizing established protocols
- Utilize de-escalation techniques to help individuals regain stability during crises
- Collaborate with individuals to develop safety plans and offer resource referrals
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions in compliance with privacy regulations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; certification in crisis intervention or suicide prevention is desirable
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in crisis intervention or call center environment
- Must possess intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to connect empathetically with individuals in distress

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Thorough understanding of behavioral and mental health issues, crisis intervention, or suicide prevention
- Ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues that may arise during text/chat sessions
- Experience in providing customer service in high-stress environments
