What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide in-person and telehealth crisis response and assessment services to individuals experiencing mental health crises
- Maintain accurate records of all contacts and document follow-up needs for team coordination
- De-escalate crisis situations and conduct thorough assessments of risk to self or others
- Make appropriate referrals for treatment to ensure psychiatric needs are met
- Collaborate effectively with various departments, community agencies, and mental health consumers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related mental health field
- Effective communication skills via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods
- Knowledge of crisis intervention skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Commitment to attending team meetings and completing required training
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in providing crisis intervention services in a behavioral health setting
- Familiarity with community resources and support systems for mental health
- Additional certifications in mental health or crisis intervention
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
