What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Input data for the voice and swallow database
- Reconcile data for SLP continuing education credits
- Collect and enter data for SLP-led research studies
- Assist SLPs in recruiting patients for active studies
- Support department staff with various tasks and projects as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA compliance and other standard research training compliance
- Motivated and capable of working without direct supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Must be available to work on-site at UW Hospital and Clinics
- Preference given to students majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in research or data entry is a plus
- Familiarity with healthcare or academic environments
- Interest in pursuing a career in Speech-Language Pathology or related fields
