    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including students, teachers, industry partners, and community members
    • Experience in career services preferred or employment background in any of the following: education, job placement in industry, CTE, counseling, college or workforce recruitment agency.
    • Proficiency in using career development software and tools
    • PRIMARY PURPOSE:
      The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Academy Career Coach will support the Director of Career and Technical Education in enhancing CTE programming across schools. Support and sustain the HCISD CTE Academy model by developing collaborative relationships and sustaining a strong network between HCISD schools, post-secondary, Business & Industry, and the community. This role involves guiding students in their career development, providing resources and support to CTE teachers, and coordinating with industry partners to ensure program relevance and effectiveness.

      QUALIFICATIONS:
      Education/Certification:
      • Master's Degree in Guidance & Counseling
      • Texas Counselor Certificate (Preferred)
      Experience:
      • Experience in career counseling, workforce development, or a related area.
