- Product presentations - create and present product demonstrations with an educator's perspective to the sales team and to school districts that are evaluating new BDR products
- Curriculum Consultation - assist current and prospective customers in aligning BDR resources to their curriculum and provide support in curriculum alignment in the RFP process
- Conferences & Webinars - create session content and present at various conferences and on webinars, and provide support to educational leaders that are presenting on behalf of BDR at conferences
- Professional Development - develop and deliver in-person and virtual professional development for new and existing BDR subscribers as part of our larger customer success program
- Content Development - assist marketing with developing deliverables for content marketing such as implementation guides, training handouts and customer newsletters
- MLS degree
- 5+ years classroom or K-12 library experience
- Deep and current knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional pedagogy
- Experience utilizing BDR resources in classroom or library
- Engaging presentation style and ability to relate to educators
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other BDR teams
- A customer-facing approach, a willingness to roll up sleeves, and a keen appreciation of the importance of customer relations and service to the success of the business
- Ability to travel up to 20%

Description
Reporting to the Manager, Curriculum Development and Customer Success, the Curriculum Specialist is responsible for supporting sales, marketing, and customer success teams as they build and maintain loyal customers in K12 schools. The Curriculum Specialist will leverage experience in classrooms and libraries to bring an educator's perspective to the customer experience. The Curriculum Specialist will work remotely with occasional travel to customer sites, conferences, and sales meetings.
