Job Description:

Come join the fast paced, hardworking, Custodial Services Team at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science! This position is responsible for providing an exceptional level of cleaning to achieve and maintain a clean, safe, healthy, attractive environment for our guests, volunteers and staff. Our Custodial team focuses on just cleaning- we do not do event setup/take down and or snow/ice removal.

We currently have the following openings on our team:

3 Full-Time evening Custodian I shifts:

• Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday-Monday Off) 3:30pm – 12:00am $19.55/hour + Shift Differential
• Wed-Sunday (Monday/Tuesday Off) 3:30pm – 12:00am $19.55/hour + Shift Differential
• Saturday-Wednesday (Thursday/Friday Off) 3:30pm – 12:00am $19.55/hour + Shift Differential

Essential duties:

• Performs daily cleaning procedures in accordance with DMNS cleaning specifications.
• Responsible for performing custodial duties in the following locations: all restrooms, public spaces, offices, studios, elevators, tunnels, hallways, labs, lounges, lunchrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, gift shop, locker rooms and parking garage.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by department supervisor or manager.

Minimum qualifications/Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older required.
• Evening/night/weekend and on-call work may be required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to accommodate museum activities required.

Ideal candidate:

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Have at least 6 months' custodial experience
