      Part Time Customer Service & Data Associate

      The Customer Service & Data Associate assists with organizing community sustainability events including engaging with staff, residents, community organizations/groups/partners and a variety of contracted service providers to deliver a diverse range of events and activities to meet the needs of a growing and diverse community. This position provides customer service support for all phone, email, social media and in-person requests relating to sustainability events.

      Job Duties Include:

      • Organizes and assists with the planning and delivery of sustainability events
      • Answers and respond to enquires by phone, email social media and in-person
      • Carries out financial tasks such as purchase order creation, accounts payable disbursements, account receivable requisitions and general ledger corrections
      • Maintains departmental files and records management
      • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications/Skills:

      • Minimum Grade 12 diploma
      • 2 years of office administration experience
      • Good financial administration skills to prepare financial documents
      • Good organization and administrative skills
      • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Good understanding of social media platforms and social media information
      • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
      • Ability to provide a current criminal reference check that is satisfactory to the Town, upon being hired

      What we offer to staff

      • Rate of Pay: $30.80 - $33.38 per hour
      • Hours of Work: This is a non-union position that works 24 hours per week. The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
