What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure all calls routed to the billing phone queue are promptly answered and resolved in accordance with approved billing policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships across all departments to deliver exceptional customer service
- Prepare and post patient payments by either electronic or manual methods
- Identify and resolve patient billing complaints and prepare, review, and send patient statements
- Evaluate patients' financial status and establish budget payment plans

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a billing role
- Knowledge of medical billing/collection practices and familiarity with Medicaid and Commercial payers
- Bilingual in oral and written Spanish and English required
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills

- Experience working with FQHC billing and revenue cycle activities
