What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct customer service and front desk assistance for various departments including admitting, registering, scheduling, and verifying insurance
- Handle customer account transactions and oversee cashiering operations
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain patient safety
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide necessary support
- Maintain knowledge of office procedures and insurance plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
- Understanding of insurance plans
- One (1) year of previous related experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a medical office setting
- Certification in Heart Saver
