What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and lead the Customer Service Department, ensuring optimal service delivery
- Hire, train, coach, and develop Customer Service Representatives (CSRs)
- Perform real-time monitoring of call queues and respond to unfavorable trends
- Conduct quality call audits and provide constructive feedback to CSRs
- Prepare and present reports on call center metrics to management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of problem-solving, supervisory, and management experience
- Strong leadership abilities to develop, direct, and motivate employees
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proven experience working in or supervising high-volume customer interaction phone activities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with service level agreements and call center phone system monitoring
- Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Experience in operational, underwriting, claims, and billing business acumen
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a team environment
- Some experience in complaint handling
